Strategy in Singapore

While Coach continues to be one of the most recognized accessories brands in North America, it plans to increase international distribution and to focus on the Asian consumer in the long term so as to leverage on the significant growth opportunity in this region.

At present, Coach has 11 stores in Singapore, which are situated mainly in the city and areas with high tourist traffic (Changi Airport, Sentosa and Marina Bay Sands). To maintain a consistent brand strategy internationally and to have complete control of its distribution, Coach has direct ownership over its business in Singapore and other Asian markets

Recently, Coach opened its largest flagship store in Southeast Asia on 19 July 2012 at Wisma Atria and it features the most extensive men’s collection in the region. The first Coach flagship store in Singapore opened on 28 October 2009.
